software training

scs offer a whole range of proven training courses, both tutored and via work-books, covering most office applications (Microsoft Office Xp, 2003, 2007 & 2010, Open Office, Libre Office) as well as many everyday applications such as Opera, FireFox, Safari & Internet Explorer (all versions), graphics packages, the use of Social Networking sites, and so much more.

But training is not just about using a certain application, sometimes it's about acheiving a particular aim, such as creating a spreadsheet to fulfill a specific need, or using your digital camera, transferring the images and then editing them, or creating something for your business. These are just some of the challenges we can help you overcome by clear, concise and understandable training.

personal one to one, work or class based training

Having supplied I.T.training to some well-known local institutions (West Lakes College, Innovia Films, West Coast Learning, Keswick Learning Centre, Local Adult Education etc.) scs are well placed to meet most any type of training/learning need.

For a more formal I.T. learning experience, such as the new iTQ or ECDL, then complete courses with Learning Outcomes and Lesson Plans can be supplied and taught by a qualified trainer or just supplied so you may deliver them yourself.

For those that benefit from the process of learning one-to-one, scs can deliver your exact needs, in your home or work premesis, at very realistic rates.

If you happen to be putting a training budget together, just remember, trained staff are more efficient staff.

on-line and workbook based training

scs have numerous workbook based training courses available now to cover many day-to-day computer applications and solutions. Over the coming months, workload permitting, there are plans to convert many of these courses into both interactive on-line solutions and short videos. The most popular are in development now but they do take time. If you have specific requirements now then please do get in touch.

For personal non-commercial use, all the workbooks (including any required practice files) will be made available at just £1 (one pound) each. When time permits scs will post some example chapters on these webpages so you can try before you buy. If you simply can't wait then please email with your requirements and a sample will find its way to you.
